For your business to thrive, people need to be fully engaged, effective and empowered across the entire organisation.

No matter how good your processes and procedures, it’s impossible to achieve optimal results without first unlocking the potential of your people.

You need leaders and they are everywhere. If you look for them.

As Brené Brown says “A leader is anyone who takes responsibility for finding the potential in people or processes and has the courage to develop that potential.”

Julia was incredibly engaging and offered a lot of personal insight with her own lived experience examples. It made me feel more comfortable to share of my own experience and thoughts. I really felt like she held a safe space for me, particularly when I struggled with my self-reflection. The course material resonated on a deep level, and I can’t thank Julia enough for delivering such a beautiful learning experience.

“Dare to Lead™” is an amazing and absorbing insight into what brave leadership looks like in a world where challenges are as new as they are varied and where the demand for transformation, change and new ways of working feels never-ending. In 2022, I found myself in the fortunate position of attending the program with Julia Ridout who delivered an inspiring and impactful sessions in a meaningful style that encouraged courageous, safe conversations that were filled with fun, honesty and sometimes, a lot of laughter. Amongst so many brilliant insights delivered by Julia, the program highlighted the importance of meaningful communication, how leading from self-protection (Armoured Leadership) can prevent “leaning into vulnerability and skilling up for hard conversations”, “practicing values” and “owning our failures, setback and disappointments”. It dispelled the myths around vulnerability, demonstrated what empathy really looks like and helps you to understand who sits on what seat in your arena. Julia has become a trusted adviser who provides unbiased, invaluable and measured advice and feedback.

I had a great 3 day Dare to Lead session with Julia as part of team learning experience. The best part of the sessions were Julia’s interpretation of the material, adapting it to changing circumstances and engagement with our team. I had a very useful one-one coaching session afterwards on applying some of the tougher concepts. Thanks Julia!
